“The Statement is more than an album — it is a declaration of faith, freedom, and purpose. Every melody, every lyric, every sound, every arrangement, every production choice, and every creative decision was shaped through the power of God. From the writing to the recording, from the producing to the mixing and mastering, God breathed life into every facet of this project and gave me the vision, strength, and discipline to bring it forth.
This album was created from a place of obedience. It represents a mountain that many said I would never climb, a vision some thought I could never complete, and a calling I once struggled to fully embrace. For years, I battled self-esteem issues because I allowed the opinions of people to speak louder than the Word of God over my life. I questioned myself. I delayed myself. I talked myself out of rooms God had already given me grace to walk into.
However.......
John 8:36 says, ‘Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.’ Now I stand free — free from condemnation, free from the negative opinions of others, free from negative self-talk, free from procrastination, free from doubt, free from fear, and free from denying the gift that God placed on the inside of me.
What was once hidden is now manifesting. What was once delayed is now being released. What was once only a vision is now becoming a sound. Through the F.O.C.U.S.E.D. Vibes Movement — Fixed On Certain Undertakings Solely Everyday — this album stands as proof that when God gives the vision, He also gives the grace to finish it.
This is my testimony. This is my sound. This is my declaration.

About the Artist: Byron "Kountry" Parsons
Born in the foothills of North Carolina, Byron Parsons is a minister, musician, audio engineer, producer, songwriter, and creative force with a sound rooted in faith, real life, and Southern grit.
Byron earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University, graduating with a 3.79 GPA — proof that while he may proudly call himself “Kountry,” he is far from “Kountry dumb.” Around here, “Kountry” means grounded, creative, resourceful, and built different. It means he knows how to work with what he has, figure out what he doesn’t know, and turn vision into reality.
Serving as a Minister and Musician at Grace Kingdom Life Ministries, Byron’s music is shaped by worship, testimony, struggle, restoration, and a deep desire to point people back to Jesus. His debut album, The Statement, is more than a collection of songs — it is a declaration of faith, survival, growth, and purpose.
What makes this project even more personal is that Byron is recording the entire album himself. From producing the music, writing the lyrics, performing the songs, engineering the sessions, mixing, and mastering — every part of The Statement carries his hands, his heart, and his testimony.
Byron brings together ministry, musicianship, technical skill, and a little foothills flavor to create music that is honest, bold, and full of purpose. He is not just making songs. He is building a sound, telling a story, and proving that God can take everything you have been through and turn it into something powerful.
